Nikole of Herriott Grace

These are beautiful photographs from Nikole's home via Design Sponge, I love the rustic elegance - The mixture of little objects and vintage things looks truly stunning! nikole herriott lives in Toronto, Canada and her father lives 2800 miles away. Her father, a craftsman began sending her carved spoons in little packages, Nikole loved them and thought that others would too, so she and her father began Herriott Grace.

Suburban Tipi

This suburban tipi was designed and installed by John Paananen in Michigan. Indoors it has a concrete fire-pit, plastic laminate flooring, carpet tiles, furniture and a large scale photo mural. The outer shell uses the traditional suburban siding over a timber construction. 

Reversible Destiny Lofts

Shusaku Arakawa, a Japanese artist based in New York, and his creative partner, poet Madeline Gins, developed a small apartment complex in the Tokyo suburb of Mitaka that is anything but comfortable and calming. The living space within these Lofts both prods and coaxes its residents to continue living and to help extend the resident's life span and quality of life.
